Chalking on your stucco is one of the biggest signs that you might be due for a repaint. Chalking occurs to most homes in the vally due to our extreme UV levels. If you are getting paint quotes make sure that your painting contractor is using a good binding primer like SealKrete. Simply pressure washing the stucco will not work and failing to prime the chalky surfaces will result in peeling paint in just a couple of years.
